A particular garden is called the artist’s garden, where varying artists exhibit their works in the beautiful surroundings. And the latest initiative is a prairie garden with beautiful herbaceous perennials and high dry grasses that sway in the wind, and a monastery garden, which speaks to all senses containing spice-, fragrance- and medicinal herbs.
The garden began by accident 10 years ago, when Merry and Finn had a pond installed in the garden. Merry and Finn started reading gardening books and going to gardening lectures – at first to make something of the pond’s surroundings. Then they planted a multi-flowering English garden, then Japanese – and presently Merry and Finn have 30.000 square meters containing eight different fantastic gardens.
