Birkegård Gardens is a great place for children. They can solve exciting pathfinder adventures in the gardens, visit the two sweet and very cuddly donkeys, Hans and Grethe, stroke the small ponies, pat the super soft angora goats, look at the funny pig or talk to the rabbits by going in the rabbit cages.


There are 2 playgrounds. One is a nature playground where the children can really toddle around, and at the other playground, they can swing in the climbing ropes and go on three different sizes of slides.
In addition, there is mini golf and a petanque course.

Remember to bring bread and carrots for the animals. Save a few crumbs for the fish in the lake in the Danish/English garden - they are completely crazy about bread!


Enjoy your picnic on the cosy patio, or visit the café, where you can buy coffee, cake, hot food, beer, wine and water.
